Trevor (61) a retired gas engineer, previously lived in a Georgian farmhouse while Sue owned a 1930s semi, and they were keen to downsize to a home which they could look after with the minimum of effort.

Sue added: “Everything has been great. The sales staff were so helpful and they kept us informed of everything. And the house is everything we hoped for – in fact I can’t really believe it’s ours!”
