Citroen C3 Picasso prices announced

Citroen, the best selling MPV manufacturer in Europe, has released UK prices for its newest addition to the Picasso family - the C3 Picasso. Specified in three trim levels, VT, VTR+ and Exclusive, the stylish new model will be available from just £11,495, up to £15,595. Exact equipment and specification will be announced when the model goes on sale on 9th April.

The C3 Picasso has already been named Top Gear’s Family Car of the Year, even before it has gone on sale. Its innovative design offers drivers a truly distinctive MPV, with class-leading cabin space, effortless modularity, a quality feel and a choice of efficient and dynamic petrol or HDi diesel engines. This funky new car is a smart choice for the modern family motorist who wants style, functionality and fun in a fresh, contemporary and unique design.

Endorsing the C3 Picasso’s position in the marketplace, and highlighting Citroen’s commitment to producing quality vehicles that are right for both the current market and for the future, industry experts, CAP Monitor, have predicted that it will have best in class second-hand values.

Based on the 1.6HDi VTR+ model and three-year/60,000-mile values, the C3 Picasso is predicted to retain 37.17% of its value – some 10% better than competitor models.

The C3 Picasso’s residual success story is the latest in a line of strong performances from Citroen, building on the Company’s reputation for making affordable and economical vehicles. Most recently, EurotaxGlass confirmed the Citroen C1 to be the second slowest depreciating car of 2008.
