With this in mind, International Motors Limited, importer of Subaru, Isuzu and Daihatsu cars, has donated a variety of items that will be used as training aids for motor vehicle students at Shrewsbury College.

The items include a variety of manual and automatic transmissions and are designed to help the students attain City & Guilds 4101 and BTEC National certificates in motor vehicle studies.

The course allows students to develop practical skills in the basic theory of vehicle maintenance repair and services. It is also designed to give them the opportunity to progress onto an Apprenticeship or onto a full level two course in Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

Stuart Thomas, Head of Motor Vehicle, Shrewsbury College, said: “We are extremely grateful to companies who are in a position to boost our training aids. Students who successfully complete the courses will not only gain an industry recognised qualification but also have the opportunity to go on to study at a higher level.”

All the items donated have been certified not to be used for resale.
