Citroen C1 ev’ie to be featured in Green Motion’s fleet line-up

Green Motion, the world’s first and only low CO2 car and van hire company announced, following the official launch of the Citroen C1 ev’ie all electric car, its intention to feature the vehicle within its fleet line-up.

The Citroen C1 ev’ie, launched today at the Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, London, is the first all electric 100% emission free production car.

Based on the traditional Citroen C1 chassis, the car boasts a performance of up to 60mph with a range of between 60 and 75 miles on a full charge. The ev’ie is the first vehicle of its type to offer a four seat carrying capacity and has maintained all the safety features traditionally associated with the Citroen C1 including both driver and passenger airbags, ABS and full front, rear and side crumple zones.

The founder and managing director of Green Motion Vehicle Rental said ‘we are delighted to have the opportunity to include the new Citroen C1 ev’ie on our fleet – since the launch of Green Motion we have been receiving demand from customers who wish to hire an all electric vehicle offering true zero emission motoring.
