To mark Citroen’s 90th Anniversary, Citroen UK has teamed up with the UK’s Citroen car clubs to host a French-themed evening of celebrations at the famous Ace Cafe London on Saturday 3rd October.

Citroen owners, collectors and the general public are all welcome to attend the festivities, and the first 300 people will take home a limited-edition commemorative plaque as a souvenir of the evening.

With nine decades of Citroen models expected to be on display, as well as rare memorabilia, prize competitions, special celebrity guests and live entertainment, the event promises to be a fun-filled evening for Citroen fans of all ages.

A competition – hosted by special guest judge John Simister – will be held to award the best presented car from each decade of Citroen’s history, with exclusive prizes. The Discovery Channel’s own ‘Wheeler Dealer’, Mike Brewer, will be Master of Ceremonies during the evening, adding his unique blend of banter and fun to the proceedings.

The event kicks off at 4pm at Ace Cafe London, just off the North Circular road and is free to attend.

The famous Ace Cafe London venue has a historical tie to Citroen – the site incorporated a Citroen dealership in the post-war years. Mark Wilsmore, Managing Director of Ace Cafe London said: “We are delighted to welcome Citroen for this special 90th Anniversary event. They have chosen a classic venue for their memorable occasion.”

On the same evening, celebratory events will be taking place simultaneously across several European capital cities. In Paris, there will be a nocturnal parade called the ‘Croisiere Blanche’, which will feature Citroen vehicles old and new, illuminated with LED lighting and led by the stunning GTbyCITROEN concept car.
