E.ON launches cheapest combined cavity wall and loft insulation

E.ON has launched a cavity wall and loft insulation deal for only £99 each, as part of its mission to get UK homes energy fit.

Fawcitt, E.ON's Energy Efficiency Manager, said: "There are millions of poorly insulated homes in the UK which are wasting around £1 billion on their heating bills each year. Families could reduce their energy bills by around 20% just by making sure their lofts and walls are properly insulated. 

"We hope this deal will help people who aren't eligible for free insulation to get energy fit and save money."

E.ON estimates that there are over 3 million fuel poor households living in properties that are poorly insulated.  E.ON invested £20 million this winter when it offered free insulation to customers aged 70 or over or on qualifying benefits such as pension credit.
