NYC & Company has announced that 15 hotels in its Signature Collection will participate in this summer’s Third Night promotion, whereby visitors can stay for a third night free after booking and paying for two consecutive nights between 27th June and 5th September 2011.

The Signature Collection was established in 2001 by NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organisation for New York City. It consists of a selection of 20 of New York’s most luxurious hotels.

For visitors planning a longer stay in New York City, the promotion also applies to every third night during the stay – so those staying six nights would receive two of those nights for free. Detailed information on the participating hotels and the booking details for each property are available at: nycgo.com/thirdnight

”New York City is home to some of the world’s most sumptuous hotels, and the Third Night promotion gives visitors and residents extraordinary value this summer at 15 high-end properties," said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company.

The 15 hotels participating in the Third Night program are: The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel; Hôtel Plaza Athénée New York; Jumeirah Essex House; Loews Regency Hotel; The London NYC; The Peninsula New York; The Pierre New York; The Plaza Hotel; The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park; The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park; The Setai Fifth Avenue, A Cappella Managed Hotel; The Sherry-Netherland; The St. Regis New York; Trump SoHo New York; and The Waldorf Towers.

People planning a trip to New York to take advantage of the Third Night promotion will find many other deals available in New York City in the summer months. The city’s 20th Restaurant Week takes place from 11th – 24th July 2011, offering fixed price menus at $24.07 for lunch and $35 for dinner (terms and conditions apply).

There are also many free events taking place across the city, from free cultural events, outdoor film screenings and outdoor theatre. Details of summer offers and events are available at: nycgo.com
