A couple looking to downsize from their period detached house in a North Yorkshire village have found their perfect new home at Caedmon’s Prospect in nearby Whitby, from Kebbell Homes.
Thomas and Desmene Wallis moved into a luxury new apartment at the development in the coastal town having previously lived in their 1850s period three-bedroom property in Sleights for the past eight years. She added, “Our apartment has two balconies which look across the tops of trees, out towards the North Yorkshire Moors which look beautiful. Inside there’s lots of storage space here and it’s also a very secure environment.”
Thomas, an electrical engineer, says, “In Sleights we often had to drive the car into Whitby and then find a parking space. Now everything is within walking distance, such as the beach, the park, restaurants and shops, plus we have allocated parking here too. The development is also very secure.”
