For teachers John and Lynsey Irish, finding a spacious new home to grow in to with their three young children, that was also close to family, was top priority and the couple found Wilstock Village in North Petherton offered them the perfect fit.

“Being closer to my parents and also to our eldest son’s school played a major part in our decision process,” says John, who was born and raised in nearby North Petherton.

“I grew up around this area and my parents still live nearby, so we started looking at developments around here. With three boys, aged six, two and seven months old, it was important for us to find somewhere bigger, where we would have more space to grow in to as they get older.

“We are now nearer to the schools where we work, and it’s a really lovely house, so we’re very pleased.”

The couple, both aged 30, settled on a four bedroom house, which they purchased using a part exchange for their previous Bridgwater house.

Part exchange removes all the uncertainty associated with a move, particularly in today’s economic climate. David Wilson Homes is a guaranteed cash buyer – so there is no chain, no last minute price haggling and no hidden costs. And people can stay in their old property until their new home is ready.

“We spoke to a sales advisor at the site and they were really helpful and helped us find exactly the house we were looking for. The option to part exchange also made the whole process far easier and quicker for us, as we didn’t need to worry about a chain.”

Wilstock Village offers something for everyone with a superb selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes.

Set within the thriving community of North Petherton, Wilstock Village boasts a country park and a new primary school for local families. The nearby towns of Bridgwater and Taunton offer excellent amenities and railway links. Bridgwater is famous for its annual November carnival, while Taunton is the popular county town.

The Quantock Hills has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers impressive heathland, forest and farmland scenery, ideal for nature lovers.
