EDF Energy launches cheap dual fuel tariff
EDF Energy has launched a new product, Online S@ver Version 10, which offers the most competitive dual fuel energy prices on average in the market.
A typical annual dual fuel bill for a customer on this tariff paying by monthly direct debit is £941, which is the cheapest deal on the market based on a national average, outstripping the nearest competitor by £14. Online S@ver Version 10, EDF Energy’s cheapest variable tariff, guarantees customers at least a two per cent discount off our Standard Tariff unit rates until 30 September 2012. It is available only from EDF Energy directly, via savetodaysavetomorrow.com
Furthermore, EDF Energy continues to offer the cheapest dual fuel fixed-price product based on a national average with its Fixed S@ver Version 2 tariff. It guarantees customers fixed prices until 30 September 2012. A typical dual fuel customer on Fixed S@ver Version 2 using a direct debit payment method would pay £1,009 per year for their energy consumption. As well as being the cheapest dual fuel fixed price product in the market, Fixed S@ver Version 2’s dual fuel prices are cheaper than the other five major suppliers’ dual fuel standard prices in all regions for all payment methods.
EDF Energy also offers the longest guarantee against price rises on the market with Fixed Price 2014, available also to dual fuel or electricity-only customers. A typical dual fuel customer on Fixed Price 2014 using a monthly direct debit payment method would pay £1,084 per year for their energy consumption. Fixed-priced tariffs give those concerned with volatile wholesale costs the peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly what they will be paying for both gas and electricity and help them budget more effectively.
All these products reflect EDF Energy’s commitment to first class choice to customers and providing competitive and sustainable prices during these difficult economic times, further illustrated by our Winter Price Freeze Guarantee last winter.
