Kährs spans colour spectrum with new on-trend finishes

Kährs offers a wide range of designer finishes throughout its wood flooring ranges. They include a variety of new matt lacquer and nature oil stains, in a spectrum of shades, as well as textural finishing treatments which highlight the timber's natural grain structure.

The striking designer finishes are featured throughout Kährs Original, Supreme and Linnea Ranges, with many new products joining the collections for 2011/12. Options span from silver and white brushed finishes, for a modern lime-washed look, to striking mono-toned and inky black floors. Rich tropical-look floors also feature within Kährs World Collection, which includes six temperate alternatives crafted from sustainable oak. Many of the floors are also offered with surface treatments, ranging from handscraped and distressed finishes to distinct bevelled edges, used to define a board's format and complement the wood's rustic, figured appearance.

Throughout Kährs ranges, all surface finishes are solvent-free and are applied in several thin layers, to provide durability without altering the wood's appearance. All floors are easy to maintain and quality formulations ensure that lacquers, oils and stains do not discolour over time.
