13th July 2011 Print

House hunters in Cornwall will soon be spoilt for choice, as Taylor Wimpey Exeter has been granted planning permission to build phase two of its popular Trevenson Meadows development in Newquay.

Expected to be released soon, this second phase will bring even more high quality, well designed homes to the area and will create an even greater choice for house hunters looking for a new home in Newquay.

Janine Davey, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “We’re delighted to have secured planning permission for our next phase of homes at Trevenson Meadows. Since the launch of the development last year we’ve received a great deal of interest and demand here, so it’ll be fantastic to add to the already varied portfolio of homes on offer. We very much looking forward to talking to new customers interested in the second phase as we’re confident they’ll be a new home to suit them.”

When complete, Trevenson Meadows will offer a collection of two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom homes. The properties at the development will benefit from high efficiency boilers, high performance glazing systems, insulation and low flush toilet cisterns. 10% of the homes will be provided with solar panelling to ensure the development is as sustainable as possible and many will benefit from beautiful countryside views.

Local residents currently living in the area can also take advantage of additional discounts on selected plots, making buying a new home even more affordable for them.

Situated in an excellent location in the popular coastal town of Newquay there are numerous amenities on the doorstep including supermarkets, bars and restaurants as well attractions such as Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. For walkers and cyclists, the tranquillity of Bodmin Moor is nearby to enjoy or, for the more adventurous, there is the opportunity to try water sports in the ‘surfing capital of Britain.’

For commuters, Newquay has good road, rail and air links with access to the A30, A38 and M5, as well as Newquay Railway Station and Newquay and Cornwall Airport.

Currently available is a collection of two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom homes, with prices starting from just £134,995. For more information visit the development open daily from 11am – 5.30pm.
