First Time Buyers should visit Persimmon’s Lowen Bre development

First-time buyers are being offered a vital helping hand to purchase their dream home at a popular Persimmon Homes development close to the historic Cornish city of Truro.

The new government equity loan scheme, FirstBuy, is currently available on selected properties at the ideally located Lowen Bre development.

Nina Hester, sales director for Persimmon Homes South West, says: “FirstBuy is an excellent scheme to help first time buyers onto the property ladder.

“Persimmon has been awarded the largest FirstBuy allocation of any house-builder which means we have a wide choice of new homes available to buy using the scheme.”

FirstBuy is aimed at households with an income of less than £60,000 a year, with priority given to first time buyers. Eligible applicants are offered an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the purchase price. They then gain a mortgage for the remaining amount.

A range of properties are available at Lowen Bre through the FirstBuy scheme. And with such a beautiful location to the west of Truro, offering buyers open countryside on their doorstep, it’s easy to see why the development has been proving so popular.

Homes currently available at Lowen Bre include the spacious four bedroom Whitemoor, priced from £254,995.

This stunning semi-detached family home offers split level accommodation with a popular kitchen / living space on the lower ground floor, opening onto the garden. An additional living room, family bathroom and bedroom can be found on the ground floor, while the master bedroom with en-suite plus two further bedrooms are located on the first floor.

Also proving popular at Lowen Bre is the three bedroom Quintrell, priced from £232,995, although prospective buyers will have to hurry as there are only two remaining.

This spacious family home includes an impressive dual aspect living room with patio doors to the rear garden plus a large kitchen / dining room.

Lowen Bre is a superb development which is close to a wide range of retail and leisure facilities including a sports centre and Truro tennis club. There is good road access to main transport links, the A30, Truro Railway Station and Newquay airport.

Truro itself is a very pretty and vibrant city with an ancient Cathedral and plenty of shops and restaurants. Whichever way you head, the beautiful Cornish coastline is never far away with many seaside villages and towns to explore and some stunning coastal scenery.
