M&S offers foreign currency refund for Holidays 4 U customers

M&S Money has confirmed it will offer a full refund for foreign currency purchased from M&S by customers who have booked holidays or flights with Holidays 4 U and are now unable to travel to or back from their holiday destination.

M&S Travel Money customers can take the full amount of their original purchase into any of the 122 M&S bureaux de change and exchange it for the full amount of sterling paid for the currency.

Customers must provide proof of foreign currency purchase from M&S and proof of a booking with Holidays 4 U. The offer is also open to customers who purchased currency from M&S Money via the internet or telephone.

James Yerkess, Head of Travel Money at M&S Money, commented: "We sympathise with anyone who has lost their holiday or been stranded abroad, and is unable to make alternative travel arrangements.  By offering to refund foreign currency at the same rate they bought it for, we hope to alleviate some of the inconvenience our customers have experienced."
