Taylor Wimpey rewards West Midlands property-seekers
A home-hunting couple are now finding it even easier to search for West Midlands property for sale – after winning a competition at Taylor Wimpey’s The Hathaways development of new homes in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Home-hunters Mag and Neil Astill can now look for property for sale in the West Midlands online by using a state-of-the-art iPad2 – won in a Taylor Wimpey competition.
Looking to ditch the rent and buy their own home, the Astills were keen to investigate Taylor Wimpey’s properties in Stratford-upon-Avon at the leading housebuilder’s sought-after development of property for sale in the West Midlands at The Hathaways.
While booking an appointment online to view one of the houses to buy in Stratford-upon-Avon at the leading housebuilder’s development, Neil decided to enter a competition at the same time. The couple won the contest and are among four lucky iPad 2 winners who received their prizes in a special presentation from Taylor Wimpey.
“We were thrilled to find out we had won the competition – the iPad is keeping Neil very busy indeed,” says Mag, who added that they are still keen to purchase a Taylor Wimpey West Midlands home at The Hathaways.
“We really, really like the development. It’s on the right side of Stratford for Neil to get to Warwick quickly for work – in fact, it’s well placed to get pretty much everywhere, being so handy for the M40 and A46.
“We were really taken by the location, on the edge of some wonderful countryside, and unlike some developments which you can get lost in, The Hathaways is a nice, small size.”
Mag (59), a publicity officer, and picture gallery owner Neil (59), are hoping to downsize to a two-bedroom house at The Hathaways.
“We thought we wouldn’t find a two-bedroom property that has all the space we want, but we were really impressed with the generous proportions of Taylor Wimpey’s smaller houses,” says Mag.
“The two-bed houses are very popular, so we are keeping an eye on the website to see when the next ones are released for sale – which is something we can now do on the iPad!”
