To celebrate its first year of success, Skin Bistro is launching a new website along with new products and an innovative way of packaging cosmetics.

Andrea Palluch, founder of Skin Bistro, says: 'I sell quality. Packaging is essential, but I want the product to be the focus, not a pretty and expensive box which will end up in a landfill.'

High and strict environmental and ecological standards drive Andrea's ideas. When it comes to green packaging for a small handmade skincare business, glass is the best option available - but selling online makes shipping expensive. After careful consideration and appropriate testing, Skin Bistro is launching a line of products packed in compostable bioplastic tubs.

In line with the company's ethos and branding, refills are now available for products such as bath salts or body scrubs. Customers are encouraged to either buy the product packaged in an attractive glass jar or reuse their own jars!
