The winner of ‘Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model’ – Jade Thompson – arrived at Peugeot UK Headquarters in Coventry to take delivery of her prize in the popular TV competition – a brand new RCZ Sports Coupé.

Both are easily identifiable for being attractive and distinctive – Jade, 20 an ex-insurance adviser, for her natural appearance with her red hair and freckles, and the Peugeot RCZ for its characteristic ‘double-bubble’ roofline and curvaceous bodywork.

Jade, from Stoke-on-Trent, was truly excited about taking the keys to the Peugeot, saying; “This car is amazing and just what I have always wanted. I love that distinctive double-bubble roof the most, and I just love those curves. I chose black because to me it is perfect – shiny and sleek.”

Host and head judge Elle Macpherson claimed that they selected Jade as the winner and said: “This show is about finding a special kind of beauty.  A unique modern kind of beauty... and that is what Jade is."

Speaking after her victory, the young model from Stoke-on-Trent said: "I can't believe it. I'm so happy. I'm numb. I didn't even cry at first. I just feel like all the hard work I've put into it... it's paid off."

Judges Julien Macdonald tipped Thompson to become an "amazing superstar", while Charley Speed described her as "fierce", "fun" and "intelligent".  Grace Woodward added: "Jade is like her name, she's a rare and precious stone."
