Half term at The Snow Centre

If the prospect of amusing your offspring over half term is already proving a challenge book them into something that it is both physically demanding and cool. Very cool. Somewhere around freezing to be precise.

The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead boasts the ‘best snow this side of the Alps’ and is certainly the closest real snow to London. Ideally situated just off the M25 and easily accessible by public transport the centre offers an impressive 160m main slope combined with the UK’s largest indoor lesson slope.

Half term courses are available which will teach and develop skills and technique in skiing or snowboarding in extended one-two hour sessions over four days. Available for 4-6 year olds, 7-10’s and 11-16 year olds the courses will give your kids snow confidence in a fun, safe environment.

And if they already have buckets of confidence and see themselves emulating their freestyle heroes on the snow, book them into the Junior Rookie Freestyle Camp where highly qualified BASI instructors will soon have even the younger age range hitting kickers and rails, learning more tricks and improving their style as the week progresses. How cool is that?

Four day half term courses cost from £75 (based on four one hour lessons for 4-6 year olds). Rookie Freestyle Camp with two 2 hour sessions a day cost £75. Snow Centre members benefit from discounts on these prices.
