Stamp duty paid until end of October at Harbourside

House hunters have until the end of the month to take advantage of the latest deal at Crest Nicholson’s Harbourside development.

That’s because the award-winning developer is offering to pay the stamp duty on reservations made in October and could mean a potential saving of £13,050*.

The October offer has been extended following the launch of a brand new show apartment which allows house hunters to take a closer look at the development and see why it has proved so popular with those wanting to live next to the city’s historic floating harbour.

Susan Young, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson said: “Not having to pay the stamp duty on these superb waterside apartments could lead to a saving of thousands of pounds on a new home.

“Feedback from our customers has made it clear they are taking every penny into account when they weigh up the pros and cons of purchasing and we are confident this could make all the difference in time for that Autumn move.”

But it’s not just the chance to get the stamp duty paid that has attracted house hunters but also a number of endearing features that has set Harbourside apart from all other developments in the region.

With spectacular views overlooking the historic floating harbour including the ss Great Britain, the development’s close proximity to the city centre amenities has also struck a chord with those looking to move.

The high-quality finish of the apartments has been a major factor and for those with a preference for new, a predicted drop in the number of new build developments in the city by property agents Savills should also act to prompt buyers into action.

Savills also reports a return to positive house price growth with Bristol expected to lead house price recovery in the region which is anticipated to hit 21.5% between

2011 and 2015, so those who get in now will be at the forefront of the property sector recovery in the city.

Susan added: “Harbourside has across the board appeal and people want to be right in the centre of the South West’s most vibrant city with amazing views and great places to eat and shop.

“And with only eight properties left to sell the chance to save on stamp duty will, I’m sure, result in these final properties going quickly.”
