The Granville @ Barford to host week-long Game Fayre!

Hailed as an exciting time for food lovers with a huge variety of natural, wild game from the local countryside, The Granville @ Barford will be hosting its first Game Fayre from Monday 24 – Saturday 29 October.

Listing some of the delicious dishes on offer, Val Kersey, Proprietor, said: “We’ve got wood pigeon, game terrine, roasted quail, partridge, rabbit, duck and game pie, to name but a few. The bigger woodland creatures get a look-in too, such as venison”. The Granville will also be featuring some of its favourites and pub classics.

Val continued “We are delighted to be holding our special Game Fayre week. Our recent Seafood Festival was a huge triumph and, as Game is very popular, it is perfect timing for another special menu. We like to keep our food seasonal and our customers interested and it also gives our Chefs a platform to show off their skills. There are many vegetables and herbs at their best during the autumn months, and the game bird season is already well under way!”
