A fresh start with a new property in Bedford

Homebuyer Pat Wood found her ideal place at Taylor Wimpey’s Woodlands Park development of new homes for sale in Bedford.

There were many factors influencing Pat Wood’s decision to leave her old home and search for a new property for sale in Bedford, and not least among these was the need for a fresh start.

After her husband passed away in 2010, the former midwife found her old home held too many memories of their life together for her to continue living there, but she was worried about going through the buying and selling process by herself.

Because Pat’s home would also be the base for her new business venture it was doubly important for everything to be completed quickly and smoothly.

“I’ve started a new business called ‘GentleBirthing’ which is a hypno-birthing service where I teach self-hypnosis, relaxation methods and breathing exercises to help mothers and children enjoy a stress-free labour,” says Pat. “The ‘Kent’ was ideal for my needs because its three-storey layout is big enough to allow me to keep my work life separate from my home life.”
