Families who act now could be celebrating Christmas in a brand new home in Rochdale.

At Birch Grange Redrow is building homes that ‘wrap up’ sleek, modern and easy to maintain interiors in Arts and Crafts inspired exteriors that ooze character synonymous with older properties.

Some of the homes are almost ready to move into and as a ‘gift’ to customers Redrow is offering part-exchange. It means those with a home of their own to sell could find they are able to make the transition from old to new quicker and easier than they expected.

Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “People who are considering moving home may think they’ve left it too late to be able to move before the festive season, but that’s not necessarily the case. We have properties that will be ready to be called ‘home’ in time for a good old fashioned family Christmas. Plus, with part-exchange considered, those with a home of their own to sell could use it to part-fund a move up the property ladder.”

Only a couple of miles from the centre of Rochdale, Birch Grange features four-bedroom family homes in a choice of styles with prices from £234,995 to £367,995.

Designed and built with pride, they boast a high specification as standard.

“Christmas is a time when many people open up their homes to friends and family and with a brand new Redrow home you’ll be proud to welcome guests,” Christine added.

“Kitchens in the homes at Birch Grange are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, including microwave, oven and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer a stylish storage solution. With kitchens like these, cooking Christmas dinner will be a pleasure.”

The properties also boast sleek modern bathrooms and en-suites with quality fixtures and fittings and an exclusive tile range.

“All of our homes are well insulated, with double glazing and central heating included as standard. They’re around 40% more energy efficient than homes built just 10 years ago, which means householders won’t have to worry about cranking up the heating to keep warm this winter and could find they save money on their fuel bills,” Christine said.

The new homes are being built on the site of the former Birch Hill Hospital in Birch Road, Rochdale. With a good choice of local schools, the development is the ideal place for those with families; while road and rail links to Manchester mean it’s also well suited as a base for commuters.
