Ice Energy scoops national award

Eynsham-based renewable energy firm Ice Energy Technologies is celebrating victory after winning a major industry award. The company, which provides Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV and Underfloor Heating, was night named Heat Efficient Installer of the Year at the inaugural Renewables Awards held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The award recognises companies who have made substantial contributions to heat efficiency programs and rather than focusing merely on the number of completed heat pump installations, the criteria also covered items such as the training implemented by the winning company, the quality of their products and their approach to renewable energy as a whole.

Ice Energy Managing Director Andrew Sheldon was thrilled with the win: “We are naturally delighted to receive this award. This recognises the hard work we have been undertaking as a company since 2000 to implement renewable energy solutions and educate people on the merits of adoption and installation of this technology.”
