Homebuyers Andrew and Joanna Rubis were struggling to sell their old home until they found the ideal solution to their problems at The Parks, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development of new homes in Bracknell, Berkshire.

When Andrew and Joanna Rubis decided to move home and search for a new property for sale in Bracknell, they were disappointed to discover that selling their existing property would not be easy.

They had outgrown their home of 12 years and hoped that stepping up the property ladder and moving to a new Bracknell property would be a straightforward affair – but after several months on the market, they hadn’t received any offers for their two-bedroom terrace property and the couple started looking at alternative options.

This attracted Andrew and Joanna to Taylor Wimpey’s The Parks development of houses for sale in Bracknell Forest, where they found a highly desirable place to live – and the leading housebuilder’s fantastic Part Exchange scheme which meant they could move into their dream home with ease.

“We’d been living in the same two-bedroom house for 12 years and it was too small for us,” says Andrew (37), reflecting on their search for new homes in Bracknell. “Things could get cramped if we ever had guests over to stay, so we first started thinking about moving a long time ago.

“We had the house on the market for five months and nothing was really happening, so we started looking at new builds because of the incentives that are available with them,” adds the pharmaceutical project manager. “We were surprised to discover we could get a much better deal with a newly built home from Taylor Wimpey!”

As soon as the couple drove into Taylor Wimpey’s The Parks development they realised it was the place for them.
“The feel of the development struck us straight away – it’s great. The quiet streets are lined with trees and there are plenty of green spaces around,” says Andrew. “When the Sales Executive showed us a four-bedroom ‘Pearson’ house, the property’s wow factor really hit us and we had to have it!”

A smooth move from their old property into their new home was made possible thanks to Part Exchange, which enabled the couple to enjoy the extra space of their new place much quicker than they had expected.

“Part Exchange took a lot of stress out of the whole moving process – Taylor Wimpey took care of everything so it felt like we didn’t have anything to worry about,” says Andrew. “The relaxed move made sure that we were happy in our new home from the start and since moving in we’ve been able to invite guests to barbecues, parties and over to stay.”

Andrew and Joanna chose a generously-sized four-bedroom property from the stunning collection available at The Parks.

A wide choice of similar-sized properties is on sale now at the development, including the four-bedroom ‘Alexandra’ detached home, priced from just £349,995.

This exceptional house features a light and airy lounge with French doors leading to the private rear garden, plus a modern fitted kitchen with a utility area, a separate dining room and a handy guest cloakroom which completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, the landing leads to the master bedroom, complete with en-suite facilities, as well as three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside the property benefits from a garage.

Alternatively, three-bedroom homes at The Parks are available from as little as £279,995 and five-bedroom properties are priced from only £549,995.

Part Exchange is currently available with a range of family-size homes at The Parks. The initiative means customers receive the market value of their existing property, based on the average of independent professional valuations, with the agreed sum deducted from the price of their brand new purchase. Full details of this incentive are available from the Sales Executive.

Located only a mile from Bracknell town centre, The Parks is well placed for a wide selection of supermarkets and leisure amenities, including Princess Square Shopping Centre, plus a choice of cafes, bars and restaurants.

The development also benefits from a wealth of open space on the doorstep, with acres of public parkland being created alongside the new home for residents to enjoy.

Families will appreciate that local schools have an excellent reputation, and for commuters, the railway station is a mile from the development, offering regular services to London’s Waterloo and Paddington in 60 minutes, and Reading in just 20 minutes. The M3 and M4 are accessible via the location’s good road links.
