Chalet Algonquin

Skiers looking for a catered chalet in Les Arcs can now choose to stay in Chalet Algonquin, a boutique 13-bed chalet unveiled by independent chalet holiday specialist, Alpine365.

Located in the picturesque Peisey area of Les Arcs in the heart of the Paradiski, Chalet Algonquin is a stunning home-from-home which merges rustic charm with modern styling, offering all the comforts of contemporary living.

Set over 2 floors, Chalet Algonquin sleeps 10 - 13 in 5 large ensuite bedrooms, and has a spacious, open-plan, living space with two balconies, offering amazing panoramic views of the picturesque Rosuel Valley. This feature shared-space also comes with a beautiful hand-built dining table, four comfy sofas, a flatscreen TV with English TV, Nintendo Wii, a log fire, and free wifi as standard.

Combining exposed, interior stone walls and hand-crafted timber frames, this C18th building has been recently renovated in a quirky, individual manner and would appeal to anyone looking for a unique "chic-chalet" experience.

This is the 4th chalet offered by Alpine365, an independent chalet holiday specialist, which hand-picks boutique chalets based centrally in the Paradiski. Their four chalets, Chalet Epicea & Chalet Pisteside in Les Coches, La Plagne and Chalet Le Passeu and Chalet Algonquin in Peisey, Les Arcs, are located at either ends of the Vanoise Express, the impressive cable car joining Les Arcs to La Plagne. Guests therefore have direct and easy access to one of the largest lift-accessible ski resorts in the world, with its 425kms of piste, 2 snow-parks, 2 glaciers, 5 boarder crosses and 2 half-pipes.

Duncan & Toorna Salmon, a husband and wife team, established Alpine365 in 2008 and have added a new chalet, year on year. Their chalets come with gourmet, fine dining prepared by professional chefs who have often worked at Rosette standard restaurants, log fires, English TV, free wifi - and two of the chalets have luxury hot tubs. The company also organises transfers from airports and train stations; ski hire, which is delivered to the chalets; in-chalet massage; ski lessons and lift passes for guests.

A week's stay (accommodation and food) at Chalet Algonquin costs from just £475pp. Current special offers include w/c 17th Dec for £425pp (was £575 - save £150pp) and all remaining weeks in January and w/c 4th Feb - £100pp off.
