DVLA serves up a Christmas cracker for an AL11 SON

DVLA Personalised Registrations is ensuring Christmas could well come early for those wanting to buy their loved ones that extra special, personal, gift this year.
 
And for an Alison out there, the Agency has just the very thing – with AL11 SON taking “star” billing in its sixth, and final, three-day auction of 2011 which gets underway on Wednesday, November 30.
 
Thanks to the DVLA’s precise timing, successful bidders will be able to go through the formalities and be in a position to place their prize on a vehicle in time for December 25.
 
With statistics held by DVLA Personalised Registrations showing more than one third of all personalised registrations it sells are bought as gifts, the Agency is bracing itself for the festive season ahead starting with the auction being staged at Dormy House Hotel, Broadway, Worcestershire.
 
Jody Davies, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Events Manager, said: “Our final auction of the year has again been timed to ensure our successful bidders will be able to turn around the relevant paperwork in time to place their registration on their chosen vehicle. The perfect Christmas surprise.

While AL11 SON is being billing as the auction’s “star” registration, the highest reserve has been set for 14 O at £10,000. Another top name in the mix is NE11 LLS, which has a reserve of £2,000. Fans of the boy band JLS can show their true colours with the registration JLS 13.
 
In total, DVLA’s forthcoming auction will comprise 1,500 registrations chosen to offer  an eclectic mix to suit all tastes, styles and budgets including; AL11 SON (reserve -  £3,000), ALF 4X (£450), ASW 41N (£450),  BAG 80Y (£400), 1970 DB (£2,500), ELL 51E (£400), FER 458X (£400), FSM 117H (£400), GYM 805S (£400), HES 600D (£400), HU57 LER (£1,000), JLS 13 (£1,800), KRY 848Y (£400), MR51 GNS (£500), NE11 LLS (£2,000), 14 O (£10,000), 36 OO (£3,000), 11 OOO (£4,000), RO11 AND (£4,000), UTD 574R (£400), VD51 NGH (£1,000).
