Ski Republic opens 9 new stores for 2011 - 12, including Andorra

Ski Republic is opening nine new ski / snowboard hire outlets for winter 2011 / with four new shops in resorts in the Pyrenees, including one in Andorra, bringing to 40 the number of Ski Republic outlets in the Alps and the Pyrenees. The new outlets in the Pyrenees are in Font-Romeu, Grand Valira, Peyragudes and Saint-Lary, while in the French Alps new stores have opened in Alpe d’Huez 1860, Les Gets, Orcieres 1850, Chamonix and Risoul 1850.

Each of the 40 Ski Republic stores is offering two sets of equipment hire for the price of one this winter, driving the cost of skiing with a day’s hire (skis or board, poles, boots), when two book at the same time. The offer is in addition to a generous seven days ski hire for the price of six, allowing skiers to pick up their equipment the day prior to starting skiing and return it the morning after the last ski outing. All equipment hire includes free ski helmets and children’s ski hire also includes free insurance.

In total seven ski hire packages will be offered in the 40 Ski Republic outlets this winter, including two new packages for 2011 / 12, a new advance children’s category and a package for top skiers.
Example weekly packages are:-

JUNIOR package : (skis + boots + poles), from 96 € for two children 6 – 12 years old, plus free insurance and free helmet rental.

BEGINNER / SPORT EASY package: (skis + boots + poles), from 120€ for two adults old, plus free helmet rental and optional insurance, 2€ / day

ADVANCED / PRIVILEGE : (skis + boots + poles), from 240 € for two adults old, plus free helmet rental and optional insurance, 2€ / day

SPECIAL FAMILY offer : Two pairs of the brand new Salomon BBR 7.9 skis for adults, plus two junior ski equipment packages, for only 276 € / week

Rental can be pre-booked in advance via the company’s website at ski-republic.com and all ski rentals include free helmet hire.
