Half of Brits last redecorated their house a decade ago

When it comes to redecorating, it seems many Brits are stuck at the turn of the century with a staggering half (49%) of those questioned in a new survey for affordable online furniture retailer MFI, admitting that they haven’t redecorated their home for ten years.

Just under a third (29%) of those questioned claimed that they last decorated their house between 2006 and 2011 and it seems the reason might be a lack of creativity - three fifths (58%) claim they struggle to find inspiration for home interior trends.

The new survey also revealed that two thirds (62%) of people questioned said they were comfortable buying furniture online.
