Dynamic skiing with Graham Bell

Firstly, what is dynamic skiing? Basically, it is the ability to create the right body angles so that you can handle the pressure that comes up from your skis when you are really flying down the slopes. It’s the techniques that all the top racers need to adopt if they want to cross the finish line first.  New hi-tech equipment has made this more achievable for the average skier, but there are still basic steps you have to take to make sure you don’t suffer after a day of dynamism.

In this video, former Olympic skier and Ski Sunday presenter Graham Bell talks about pre slope preparation, for example:

Training
Attitudes to alcohol
Stretching/warming up

He also looks at how to recover after a session of dynamic skiing, for example:

Exercise bike/spinning
Sauna & steam room sessions
The ice bath
