With plans for a new university campus, a science and enterprise park plus provision for health and wellbeing, residents of new homes in Worcester will have a wealth of amenities on their doorstep while still being close to nature.

Redrow’s Earl’s Park development is situated on the opposite side of Bromyard Road to the site of Worcester University’s proposed University Park, the first phase of which could be open by early 2013.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “The plans for University Park will be a welcome boost to the area. Along with new university buildings, part of the site is to be developed to create an enterprise, science and ‘well-being’ park – which could include a health centre and care home – with jobs for around 2,000 people. It represents a significant investment in the local community and should help to ensure that our homes hold their value or maybe even go up in the future, so people buying now will hopefully benefit over time.”

Earl’s Park features a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes from Redrow’s sought-after New Heritage Collection.

Traditional on the outside, bright and modern inside, they enjoy a ‘best of both world’s’ appeal which is mirrored by the location.

“The homes at Earl’s Park combine the best of old and new, while the location enables residents to enjoy the tranquillity of a woodland setting yet with easy access to local amenities including shops and a choice of schools. The centre of Worcester is just a short journey away and with easy access to the M5 and M42 it’s a great base for commuters,” Pauline explained.

Some 20 acres of woodland will form part of the new homes venture, where species-rich grassland will be retained, an existing wet pond area enhanced, additional trees planted along the streets and new woodland areas created.

It means Redrow customers will be able to enjoy the benefits of living near nature and owning a brand new home.

“Designed and built with pride, our new homes are easy to manage and efficient to run. They boast a quality specification that’s streets ahead of other homes in the area. Kitchens are well equipped with integrated appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings with a tile range exclusive to Redrow,” Pauline added.

“Our homes don’t just look good, they’re practical too. Well insulated, with double glazing and central heating included as standard they’re potentially cheaper to run than some older, second hand properties, which means householders should save money on their fuel bills.”

Prices at Earl’s Park start from £229,995, with part exchange available to help get those with a property to sell moving.
