Ideal for car enthusiasts, prices start from around £18,000 + VAT for a fully installed single bay AutoSpace measuring 6m x 3.4m x 2.8m, and includes natural materials and insulation as standard.
The AutoSpace illustrated (see photograph) costs £45,000 + VAT including premium birchwood interior, full height glazing, insulation and temperature control, workstation and storage systems, and electronic roller shutters.
AutoSpace also comes with great environmental credentials. The structure uses sustainable wood and cedar cladding from renewable, certified sources and is manufactured in the UK. Designed to maximise energy efficiency with high insulation values through thick multi-layered floor, walls and roof, AutoSpace uses the latest in modern methods of construction. The buildings also require virtually no maintenance, treatment or re-decoration to external or internal walls.
The total flexibility of an AutoSpace design means you can choose a modular or bespoke-size, and fit it out to meet your exact specification at a fixed price, without those extra unexpected costs typical of building projects and expensive over-runs. A traditional purpose-built garage will cost far more, take much longer to build, and has the added stress of you needing to find a suitable builder.
Ecospace studios
An AutoSpace with optional workshop, store, garden studio or office offers the easy way to increase your live/work space, while adding value to your property. Ecospace also offers three different studio size and price options across its range of architect-designed garden studios. Small studios start from around £10,000, standard studios from under £20,000 to around £30,000, and from around £30,000 you can achieve a spacious, self-contained solution. All are far cheaper and much faster to complete than moving house or building a traditional extension or loft conversion.
A modular Ecospace studio provides a contemporary, multi-purpose solution for home working, guest space, a home gym, playroom, workshop or garage. In most cases, you can order your AutoSpace or Ecospace studio and have it erected without any planning issues for the smaller models. In some circumstances - for example, if it exceeds certain size parameters or you live in a designated area with planning restrictions, planning permission may be required. But because their products are designed and produced by architects, Ecospace can also carry out any planning applications for you.
