Peak Horizon Entrepreneur camps

New for 2012, Peak Horizon is introducing International Summer Camps for young people; great for parents who can’t spend the whole summer with their kids and want them to enjoy their holidays whilst gaining some great new skills.

Peak Horizon has launched Young Entrepreneur Camps, a specialist business programme designed for young adults aged between 15 and 17, aiming to help develop the business leaders of tomorrow. These camps are all about providing kids with the foundations and tools to succeed in the business world and nurture their entrepreneurial skills. Part of the camp includes guest speakers, skilled presenters, trainers and facilitators. Every module is carefully created and sponsored by industry leading experts, from within a thriving PLC environment – frequently making personal appearance to share their knowledge and expertise personally. This offers young adults a chance to align their further education choices with future employment ambitions.

In a recent survey of over 500 entrepreneurial and business leaders, The Brightspark Edu-Travel Report found that travel experience as a student fosters the development of relevant leadership skills, with 94% of survey respondents strongly agreeing that being well traveled was a competitive advantage in the workplace. Additional survey results showed that educational travel allows students to test their independence and character while gaining a deeper appreciation and acceptance of the world around them. This line of thought is embedded and encouraged in all of the programmes offered by Peak Horizons.

In-between business challenges, there will be new sports to try, cultural sites to visits, and a chance to learn about survival skills in the Alps – all linked to team work.

Throughout the duration of the camp a business challenge will be set e.g to take a product to market whilst making sure the marketing, accounting, operations etc are all part of the plan. There is also the opportunity to brush up on French language skills as part of the camp with FLE certified teachers.

Prices start from €2400 for the Entrepreneur programme lasting 2 weeks. This includes full pastoral care with accommodation at the Clubhotel in Alpe d’huez, all healthy and nutritional meals, lessons and activities as well as 24 hour supervision and support. These new camps are available to all nationalities. The ratio of children to staff is 1:8.

Flights not included.
