New homes coming soon to Rugby

People looking for a new home in Rugby will soon have more to choose from with the launch of Redrow’s Cawston Grange venture.
Located in Calvestone Road, the development will feature some 120 homes from the sought-after New Heritage Collection. Combining traditional Arts and Crafts exteriors and bright, modern interiors they’re sure to be popular with those who want the charm and character of an older property but the style and convenience of a brand new home.
The first homes are due to be released for sale in late February, but homebuyers are being urged to register their interest now to have the pick of the plots.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “The New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product that’s proving popular across the country and judging by the number of people who’ve already expressed an interest in the homes at Cawston Grange, we will be able to build on that success in Rugby.”
The homes at Cawston Grange will enjoy period style features such as dropped eaves, projecting plinths, timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows, supported by decorative gallows brackets, and the use of larch lap boarding as a feature.
But behind the traditional exteriors the homes will be bright, modern and full of family friendly features, including open plan layouts that put well equipped kitchens at the heart of the home. Those kitchens boast integrated top brand name appliances, including microwave, oven and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage. Upstairs family bathrooms and en-suites will enjoy quality fixtures and fittings, with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.
“Our homes don’t just look good but are practical too and unlike some older properties, won’t need lots of repairs and renovations before you can move in. It means instead of spending time and money on DIY, our customers can experience the joy of customising their new home choosing a whole host of features, including the finish of the kitchen cabinets, work surfaces and the bathroom tiles,” Pauline added.
“Designed to maximise efficiency and minimise waste, our homes are well insulated with double glazing and central heating included as standard, which means householders should save money on their fuel bills.”
It will be some weeks before Redrow is able to invite visitors to look around a show home at Cawston Grange, but in the meantime they’ll be able to take virtual tours of New Heritage Collection homes around the country thanks to the housebuilder’s award winning broadband television channel Redrow.TV
The homes at Cawston Grange are close to Rugby town centre ensuring that residents’ needs are well catered for. There are schools nearby making the homes well placed for those with families; while excellent links to the M45 and M1 also make them ideal for commuters.
