Deezer, the world's premier music streaming service, has announced a brand new application for BlackBerry smartphones that utilises the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service for legal music sharing.

BlackBerry smartphone users with the new Deezer application can share their favorite tracks, albums, playlists and artists, directly through BBM.  BlackBerry smartphone users can also discover and share new music through Deezer's editorial recommendations, which they can easily view in the new application, and share these discoveries instantly.  Users can also keep their friends up to date with their favourite music with the real time publication of their music stream feed on their personal BBM profile.

BlackBerry smartphone users can easily download and install the Deezer application, then instantly listen to the tracks their friends have shared with them.

Mark Foster, MD of Deezer UK said: "We are delighted to announce this BBM-optimised Deezer application, which will allow users to integrate and legally share their experience of the full Deezer service, all 15 million tracks, with BBM friends on their BlackBerry smartphone. We are constantly looking to provide new and enhanced functions, which are easy to use and fun for Deezer subscribers"

With 15 million licensed tracks, including all four major labels' artists, Deezer is fast becoming the number one destination for all UK music fans.
