Bargain ski deals at smaller, lesser-known Alpine resorts

Ski holidays need not be a financial strain this winter by opting for self-catering accommodation and heading to the lesser-known resorts of the Alps, where rates on accommodation, lift passes and ski hire are more affordable.

Self-catering ski accommodation specialist, Pierre & Vacances offers excellent value accommodation in a number of smaller resorts such as Isola 2000, where ski passes are over 50 per cent cheaper  and ski hire is over 40 per cent less than in larger resorts.

Lift passes and ski hire are also great value.
