20th February 2012 Print

A unique weekend Lambing Live ‘experience’ break – offering guests the chance to see all the action first-hand and maybe even participate in a lambing birth at the local RSPB farm at Lake Vyrnwy – is being featured by the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa in mid-Wales.

This two-night Lake Vyrnwy Lambing break is available at weekends – starting Fridays or Saturdays – between 24 March and 29 April (excluding Easter) and costs £192 per person, based on two sharing a Garden View room.

Also included is two nights’ accommodation with breakfast and five-course dinner in the hotel’s rosette awarded Tower restaurant and a visit to the Lake Vyrnwy RSPB lambing sheds with sessions starting at 1pm each Saturday and Sunday.

Booking for the lambing sheds is essential as places are limited.  (It is not advisable for expectant Mums to visit the lambing sheds.)

Lake View and Premier rooms are available for a supplement.  Children aged two to 16 years, sharing parents’ room pay £17.50 for B&B, whilst under twos are free of charge.

Set between lake and mountains on a 24,000 acre estate criss-crossed with 58 miles of footpath, this country house hotel also offers optional outdoor pursuits such as clay pigeon shooting and fishing as well as a Spa & Thermal Suite with a full range of therapies and treatments.
