Local residents are invited to pitch in and help plant hundreds of trees at Taylor Wimpey’s Woodlands Park development of property for sale in Bedford.

Nature lovers are invited to take part in an afternoon of tree planting which will help create a wonderful new wooded area at Taylor Wimpey’s Woodlands Park development of new homes for sale in Bedford.

The event takes place between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday 4th March, and hopes to build on the success of a similar project last year, which saw more than 200 visitors planting over 500 trees at the Taylor Wimpey Bedford development.

As a reward for their efforts, the leading housebuilder will provide planters with free hot and cold refreshments – and visitors will also have the opportunity to find out more about the stunning properties available at this sought-after development of houses for sale in Bedford.

Steve Rolt, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “This exciting project will further enhance the already beautiful green surroundings of our Woodlands Park development of properties to buy in Bedford, and offer residents an even more pleasant place to live.

“It’s a great scheme where local people can get together to do something positive for their community – and of course, they are welcome to find out more about what our stunning new homes development has to offer.”

There are now just 19 plots remaining for sale at this near sell out development, including three-bedroom houses from as little as £200,000, and four-bedroom homes from just £230,000. Selected plots offer the additional benefit of enviable views over the picturesque country park.

All new properties at the development are completed to a high standard specification, benefiting from central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make choosing one of these high-quality homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for first-time buyers and those with a property to sell.

Selected plots, for example, can be accessed by qualifying first-time buyers for just 80% of their full price under FirstBuy, while the Part Exchange scheme sees Taylor Wimpey offer homeowners the market value of their existing property, based on the average of independent valuations.

Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual circumstances and are subject to availability, with full details available from the Sales Executive.

Woodlands Park is conveniently situated for the very best of both town and country. Just over a mile from Bedford town centre, home to shops, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes, it is also surrounded by peaceful countryside and woodland.

For commuters, Bedford station offers mainline links to London St Pancras while the M1 and the A1 are each only a short drive away.

The tree planting event takes place between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday 4th March and visitors should park on Ashmead Road and walk towards Anjulita Court, following the signs to the tree planting.
