KLM starts double daily direct flights from Amsterdam to Linköping

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines today announced it will start direct flights between Amsterdam and Linköping. Starting on March 30th 2008, KLM will fly the Amsterdam - Linköping route twice daily, using Fokker 70 jet service. This makes KLM the first of the large international airlines to begin activities in Sweden outside the major metropolitan areas.

ATP chooses KLM and China Southern for Beijing 2008

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and its partner China Southern Airlines yesterday signed a contract with travel organization ATP for the transportation of the Netherlands delegation to and from the Olympic Games, which will be held in the Chinese capital Beijing in August 2008.

The German capital Berlin is the latest destination in Lufthansa’s growing network from London City Airport. From 14th January, 2008, Lufthansa will operate twice daily non-stop flights to Berlin-Tegel (thrice daily from the start of the summer timetable), offering the fastest connection between the two city centres and increasing the total number of weekly Lufthansa flights out of the Docklands airport from 66 to 78 weekly.
