Jurys Inns brings new jobs to Sheffield
With the launch of the new Jurys Inn Sheffield on 16 January 2009, five people have been employed by the hotel after completing the company’s renowned Pre-Employment Programme, a scheme that aims to help the long term unemployed back into the job market.

Two new hotels for Liverpool

Weak pound sees falling hotel prices
The weak pound has resulted in English and Scottish hotel prices becoming more favourable than in previous months. The price of a double room in London fell by 13 per cent from December to January to 116 pounds per night. In Manchester the average hotel price decreased by 22 percent (from 99 pounds to 80 pounds) and in Birmingham hotel prices dropped by 20 percent (from 86 to 71 pounds).
