Kia on the rise as dealers give the brand further endorsement
The Kia franchise just keeps getting hotter with the National Franchised Dealer Association survey putting the brand in the top 10 of most highly rated of businesses. The NFDA survey is conducted twice a year and the summer results, just released, show a continued improvement in the brand’s attractiveness to dealers up and down the country according to the data published by the Retail Motor Industry Federation.
Responding dealers put Kia in the Top 10 for the first time and in several categories rated Kia even more highly with national product advertising, dealer standards being ranked first and second respectively.
Kia Motors (UK) Limited Managing Director Paul Philpott said: “This is further evidence of the way the Kia brand is appealing to dealers’ right across the industry. It is particularly rewarding that this comes just a week after the Sewells’ Survey of Dealer Attitudes also showed that we are getting our partnership with our dealers on the right track as we look to build our retail business and our joint profitability.
“It is fantastic news to see that NFDA dealers have clearly indicated that the hard work we have undertaken over the last 18 months is paying off and that they really want and value this franchise,” he added.
Dealers gave very high marks to Kia’s product strategy, existing and future profitability and in particular ranked Kia fifth overall on the image, value and pricing of its products.
