Coventry Building Society has launched an Online Saver account paying 3.15% AER.

This easy access online savings account, which is operated entirely online, can be opened with as little as £1 and allows a maximum investment of £250,000. The market leading rate of 3.15% AER includes a bonus of 1.15% for the first year the account is open and allows four penalty-free withdrawals each year. (Further withdrawals are also possible with the loss of just 50 days' interest.)
