Disability Snowsport UK: new dates for National Skiathon 2012

Take up the Skiathon challenge and help DSUK bring joy and excitement into the lives of the many people throughout the UK who live with disability. The target is to raise £35,000 from the event so please help by entering a team or as an individual. New dates are:

Monday June 11 2012 
Sno!zone, Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire 
Sno!zone, Braehead in Glasgow 
Sno!zone, Castleford in West Yorkshire 
Tamworth Snowdome in Staffordshire

Tuesday June 12 2012 
The Snow Centre, Hemmel Hempstead

Wednesday June 20 2012 
Chill Factore, Manchester

Entry is £15 per person with a pledge to raise a minimum of £150: skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities are eligible individually or as a team of up to eight people. The fee includes equipment hire, lift pass, goodie bag and a full day of Olympian fun.

The challenge is to ski 2012 runs in six hours. Impossible? Not so: add runs to your team’s score by winning quizzes and games, by raising the most money, wearing the best outfit … . There are also some great prizes to be won.

With six indoor ski centres across the UK to choose from, there must be one near you. Join some of the British Disabled Ski Team, celebrity skier/boarders, university ski and board clubs and DSUK members in their Olympic National Skiathon Challenge in 2012.
