Grand Central living - a real success story

It appears that Aylesbury’s house-hunters have really taken to the idea of living close to the town centre with the ongoing success of the town’s Grand Central development.

Grand Central, which is built alongside the town’s railway station, is now one of developer Kier Homes’ most popular sites in the country and the last remaining apartments won’t be around for long. Word has already spread and the development is attracting attention not just from within Aylesbury; it has recently been put forward for the Evening Standard Property Awards as one of the very best developments for first-time buyers within commutable distance of London.

Asked why the development has proved so popular, Kier Homes marketing manager Alexis Bissett explained: “We believe the success is down to two significant factors. Firstly, the size of the apartments in Grand Central means that they offer fantastic value for money. They are noticeably bigger than those offered by many of our competitors and many of the Grand Central apartments offer double aspect views to both the front and rear of the block, maximising the light in each home. Secondly, of course, as the name implies, we are very centrally located for all the amenities the town centre has to offer, and with the station next door, commuting couldn’t be easier.”

For those interested in the last few remaining properties at the development, the Kier Homes marketing suite is open daily from 10am to 5pm. For further, visit kierhomes.co.uk.
