Location is key to new ATF centre at MC Truck & Bus Hythe

The first VOSA approved ATF (authorised testing facility) in the Canterbury and Hastings area has been opened by MC Truck and Bus Hythe this April.
Located on one of the busiest freight routes in the country, the M20, MC Hythe is in pole position to offer on-site HGV and PSV MOT testing to customers.
It is hoped the facility will provide better convenience to HGV and PSV operators in the area, with key focus on fuel efficiency. MC Truck and Bus Hythe depot manager, Gary White comments “now our customers can have all their essential work carried out in one place. This not only means less downtime for their vehicles but more crucially, in these times of rising fuel prices, they no longer have to travel as far to get their MOT’s.”
MC Truck and Bus, an established commercial vehicle dealer providing sales, parts and servicing, considers the move as another step closer to becoming a one-stop truck and bus shop.
This latest development follows on from other notable investments in mobile hydraulic support vehicles and a beeline chassis straightening machine, complementing existing services such as steam cleaning and full tachograph/road speed limiter facilities. Adding to this Hythe also has a state-of-the-art paint shop and body repair centre.
Managing director, Simon Dawson said of the new MOT facility “this investment provides our customers with a local solution where convenience is a key benefit.”
“It is evidence of our commitment to providing a true one-stop shop for all existing and future customers in Hythe and the surrounding area.”
