Housing plans given the go ahead in Fareham

18th May 2012 Print

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has been given the go-ahead for a select development of 33 homes on Wickham Road in Fareham.

The Nightingales will include a range of two, three and four bedroom properties suitable for both first time buyers and growing families. Homes will not be released for sale until July, but already Taylor Wimpey has received a high level of interest from prospective purchasers.

Sarah Pasco, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: “The Nightingales, which has been aptly named after Florence Nightingale as we’re building on a former hospital site, will be an attractive development in a great location close to the town centre. Although there will only be 33 private properties, we have still designed a scheme with a good choice of homes to suit a wide range of local people. Not surprisingly, we’ve already had a lot of enquiries about the homes and would urge people to register their interest as soon as possible so we can let them know as soon as the properties go on sale.”

The five star rated housebuilder prides itself on building well designed, quality homes and offering a range of schemes to help buyers get on or move up the property ladder. A stunning show home and the first collection of properties will be ready for completion late autumn this year.
