Homeowner Emma Hall will always remember her 36th birthday – it was the day she secured her ideal apartment at Taylor Wimpey’s Kingshill Grange development of new homes in High Wycombe.

Emma had been interested in the stunning selection of houses and apartments in High Wycombe for months – and had just missed out on one property there due to difficulties with selling her previous place.

So when a new buyer was found for Emma’s former house in High Wycombe on her birthday, she headed straight to Kingshill Grange where the perfect present was waiting.

“I was living with my daughter Jodie in a bungalow just five minutes away from Kingshill Grange, so I had known about the development for some time,” says Emma, a purchase ledger clerk. “When a friend moved into one of the homes in the development’s first phase, I was able to take a closer look – and I was impressed by what I saw.

“The apartments at Kingshill Grange really caught my eye, but I was having one or two problems with the property chain on my old home.

“When a new buyer for my bungalow turned up, I was overjoyed and immediately visited the development to choose a new apartment. Coincidently, this happened on my birthday, which made my new home the ideal treat!”

The generous space and interior style of Taylor Wimpey’s flats in High Wycombe were a particular attraction for Emma – as well as the easy-to-access layout of the ground-floor plot she chose, which was important because of problems she experiences with mobility.

“I bought my new apartment off-plan, and although it’s a big decision to purchase a home before it has been built, my instincts told me it was the right thing to do and the end result was fantastic!” she says.

“There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in my new home, which is perfect for me and my teenage daughter. The layout suits our lifestyles and there’s a large open-plan kitchen/living area so it’s possible to have friends over and chat to them while preparing a lovely meal.

“I use crutches to help me walk, which meant securing this ground-floor plot was a priority. Fortunately, the development is on level land and that’s a big help to me.”

Emma and Jodie moved into their new home just before Christmas 2011 and are loving life at Kingshill Grange.

“All our neighbours are really friendly,” says Emma, now aged 37. “We had a house-warming party when we moved in and many of them came along. The development has a really good atmosphere and our new home is great!”

One-bedroom apartments are currently on sale at Kingshill Grange from as little as £164,995 and two-bedroom apartments from just £199,995, while two-bedroom houses are priced from only £254,995.

Alternatively, three-bedroom homes are available from £289,995, four-bedroom properties from £329,995 and magnificent five-bedroom designs from £540,000.

All new homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification with central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Taylor Wimpey offers a range of homebuyer incentives for first-time buyers and those with a property to sell. Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual circumstances and are subject to availability, with full details available from the Sales Executive.
