Part exchange your way to your dream home

13th July 2012 Print

It’s been reported that properties in the Andover area remain on the market for an average of 130 days before selling, meaning it is unlikely local homeowners will be able to trade up the property ladder until autumn in spite of their best efforts to move.

Thankfully help is at hand for Andover house hunters as leading home builder Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, is offering its widely acclaimed Part Exchange scheme at its attractive The Villas development in the town.

The popular scheme, which is available on selected homes at The Villas, aims to greatly reduce the time purchasers have to wait to move into their dream home. In some instances it can take just four weeks as Taylor Wimpey will buy their existing property and there are also no lengthy property chains to worry about.

“It’s a common yet frustrating scenario when you’ve made the decision to move, but can’t escape the trappings of your existing property,” states Sarah Pasco, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties.

She adds: “Through Part Exchange we have assisted dozens of house hunters all looking to purchase their new home at The Villas but had previously not been able to sell their old house. It’s the ideal way to guarantee a buyer allowing you to concentrate on the move into your dream new home.”

The Villas at Augusta Park currently hosts a selection of three and four bedroom homes which are ideal for those trading up the property ladder. Prices start from £202,000 for the three bedroom Flatford house type.

Sarah concludes: “The homes at The Villas have proved popular with couples and families looking to move into bigger accommodation, due to their spacious interiors and the idyllic setting at our development.”

Andover offers the best of town life in a semi-rural setting, as residents are within easy reach of the Hampshire countryside, the South Coast and the New Forest. The Villas is also ideally located for those who need to commute with excellent road links to both the east and west via the A303. The A34 and M3 are both close at hand and the train journey from Andover to London takes around an hour and 20 minutes.
