Family falls head over heels for the Lovedean

A local family with no intention of moving have part exchanged their way into their dream new home at Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties’ popular Wellington Park development in Waterlooville.
Caroline Brook (36), Simon Glazier (43) and their three year old son, Samuel, hadn’t even contemplated moving from their home in Purbrook, but after the family’s neighbours made the move to Wellington Park, Caroline and Simon decided to head over to the development to see what the appeal was.
Caroline explains: “We hadn’t even considered looking for a new home, but after our neighbours moved to Wellington Park we thought we’d go and visit the development and see what all the fuss was about.
“Simon and I adore L-shaped houses and once we saw the development plans including the Lovedean house type with its spacious L-shaped design, we just had to find out more. With the Lovedean not yet built at Wellington Park, we visited a Taylor Wimpey development in Andover to get a good look at the property – and we immediately fell in love with it!”
But it wasn’t just the prospect of moving into the home of their dreams that attracted the family to Wellington Park, Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange scheme* really made the move a reality.
Caroline adds: “The sales staff made us aware of the Part Exchange scheme and within just one week Taylor Wimpey had been to value our property and everything was agreed – it was that easy. What’s more, we got a great price for our house, we assumed we’d get a better deal selling it ourselves but that simply wasn’t the case. The scheme is seamless and really took the stress and hassle out of the selling process.
“Also, the customer service was first class, Karen, our sales executive, in particular was incredibly helpful; she answered all of our questions and gave us the opportunity to personalise our new home and have real input into the features.”
The family have now moved into a stunning four bedroom detached Lovedean property at Wellington Park and are delighted with their new home.
Caroline concludes: “We love the house, it’s fantastic – wherever you are inside you can overlook the garden, it’s perfectly proportioned and the kitchen-dining area represent the ideal family space. Also, the location is ideal with shops within walking distance and there are lots of green fields and open spaces right on our doorstep - we’re really happy with everything and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Wellington Park to any prospective house hunters in the area.”
