Housing plans given the go ahead in Southampton

17th August 2012 Print

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has been given the go-ahead for a development of 193 homes in Maybush, Southampton.

Compass Point will include a range of two, three and four bedroom properties suitable for both first time buyers, growing families and those looking to downsize. Homes are now on sale and Taylor Wimpey has already received a high level of interest from prospective purchasers.

Fiona Creed, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: “Compass Point is set in an attractive location ideally situated close to Southampton city centre, the New Forest National Park and the Hampshire coast. With 193 properties in total, this is a development with a good choice of homes to suit a wide range of local people. Not surprisingly, we’ve already had a lot of enquiries about the homes and would urge people to register their interest as soon as possible.”

The five star rated house builder prides itself on building well designed, quality homes and offering a range of schemes to help buyers get on, or move up the property ladder.

Compass Point takes its name from its close proximity to the former Ordnance Survey head office. Located on Romsey Road, the development is conveniently located just three miles from Southampton town centre, where you'll find world class shopping, dining, entertainment and leisure facilities, including the fabulous West Quay Shopping Centre.

Travelling on business or for pleasure is simple with the M27 nearby and Southampton International Airport less than five miles away, making Compass Point an ideal choice for house hunters in the area.
