Pay less and buy with Taylor Wimpey

Calling all first time buyers! Purchasing a property can cost you less then you realise. A recent study has shown that the cost of buying a new home for first-time buyers is more than £100 a month cheaper than renting.

The average monthly costs associated with buying a two bedroom flat in the UK for a first time buyer totalled £567 in July 2011, compared to the £677 a month in rent on the same property. This offers first time buyers the opportunity to pay a whopping £1,320 less per year.

One such scheme is the fantastic EasyStart incentive. Under initiative scheme, first time buyers can purchase a new Taylor Wimpey home for as little as 85% of the price now. Simply pay a 5% deposit on exchange of contracts, and 80% of the price via your prearranged mortgage on completion. Taylor Wimpey will then loan you the remaining 15%, with no rent or interest to pay for up to 10 years.
